OXUS MCC CJSC (“OXUS”) is a microfinance institution that has been licensed and supervised by the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan since August 2006. The institute belongs to OXUS Holding which operates in three different countries, namely Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. It is part of the OXUS Developing Network (“OXUS DN”). OXUS grants loans to a total of six customer groups: agricultural loans to individuals, groups and companies from the agricultural sector. Other group loans, loans to employees and small-scale consumer loans are also granted. OXUS currently has 13 branches in Kyrgyzstan, with around 8,000 active customer relationships and a loan portfolio of more than 10 million USD.
