MC Easy Microfinance Company Limited (Easy) is a microfinance institution (MFI) in Myanmar licensed by the Ministry of Planning and Finance in Myanmar. Easy is one of the best capitalized institutions in the country. The MFI’s strategy is to offer loans that are readily and easily available and that can be repaid just as quickly. The credit size is adjusted to the business financed and the associated repayment capacities. Since the start of operations in 2016, around 400,000 loans have already been committed. Easy currently operates in 7 states with 22 stores, has over 150,000 active customers and employs 550 people.
The GLS Microfinance Fund is the first international lender to this MFI and has given Easy a loan of USD 1 million in December 2019.
