The Advans Group is a leading international company with microfinance institutions in 9 countries: Democratic Republic of the Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Cambodia, Cameroon, Myanmar, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Tunisia. Advans subsidiaries focus on areas with a lack of financial services such as savings and loans and are active in both urban and rural regions. Currently 63 % of the loan volume is granted to women, of which 46% covered rural areas. In December 2020, the GLS microfinance fund extended a loan of EUR 5 million to the Advans Group.
