IMON INTERNATIONAL is an international microfinance institute (MFI) that was founded in 1999 by the Association of Businesswomen of Tajikistan, an international NGO and the US Agency for International Development (USAID). As one of the largest MFIs in Tajikistan, with a loan portfolio of more than 70 million EUR, it supports around 109,000 borrowers. About 67% of IMON’s clients are active in rural areas.
IMON INTERNATIONAL has been certified by Smart Campaign since 2014 and has won international and national awards, including the award as a socially responsible and transparent organization through Mix Market.
